This tutorial demonstrates how to modify Macromedia Flash Savegame Files [.SOL] using generic Shared Object Editors as well as manually using hexeditors. The SOL file format is extensively covered and dissected.

A proof of concet is included in details how to modify XP and current level of the flash game Bowmaster [.com].

It's 100% safe.

If any AV's come up positive, let me know, it probably means two things, either 1) my computer is secretly infected without me knowing about ir or 2) your AV is buggered.

But yeah, it is safe but scan as pleased.

EDIT: In response to comments made in post http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=99485&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= which has since been locked.

The reason it was posted twice, both in 1) Flash Games and in 2) General Gamehacking is because it falls under both subbforum categories. Obviously it's flash, but I believe it too should fall under general gamehacking, correct me if im wrong, but doesn't flash hacking fall under general gamehacking too? Moreover, yes it has nothing to do with CE, but in the description of the General Gamehacking subforum, it says nothing about posts having to pertain solely to CE.

Finally, I was not aware that other tutorials existed on the topic at all, albet in this forum. I just reviewed those 'tutorials' and have say politely they are merely nothing more than sentence(s), hardly fall under the umbrella of tutorial. Also the directions and instructions are meager and breif, to say the least.

Does saying "download SOledit, open the sol file, select variable to change, then modify value, press save" constitute a tutorial? Is it even helpful? Perhaps. Anyway, just wanted to respond to those posts and i've now done that.

Just use www.virustotal.com when you want to scan something.

Ok cool, i`m just kinda high strung, I dled a 'hack'(awhile ago) that I heard was safe and it eventually made me reformat. :/
