I want to get xpath/dom path of an html element on click.

Let us assume I want get the xpath of textbox in yahoo.com whenever I click on that textbox what should I do?

I want function somewhat similar to firepath.

I don't want to use any pre-built plugins or softwares. I want to code that myself. What should I do?
