once again im attempting to create hacks for a 3d game. the game is silkroad online (www.silkroadonline.net). i didnt get anywhere really with a mem editor (the most i got was finding pointers for hp/mp/skill points) so i tried PE with WPE pro... only one problem, its not picking up packets. i tried wpe on another program and it picked up packets but not with sro.

silkroad does use Game Guard but their GG does NOT hide the client and as far as i know, it is used exclusively to block bots (therefore you can use normal CE).

it would be appreciated if someone knew my problem and got me a method to get around it.

in the Winsock Functions, select Winsock 2.0 ...

WPE Pro has 2 viruses when I downloaded it.

com, the reason it looks like it has 2 virus's is because its a packet sniffer and well... anti virus dont like that. Sad

edit: still nothing. everytime i go to options, its always on wpe1.1 . even if i tick everything in 2.0, nothing gets logged...

Try using a packet sniffer called ethereal to pick up the packets, it monitors the packets sent for an entire connection(eg. a modem)and just use WPEpro to send the packets, it can also decrypt the packets and tell you the protocol the packets are using(useful in certain situations)
Or it may use some kind of advanced super anti hax0r tech thats coded into the game like the infinity code off of artemis fowl or whatever.

so you actually trying to PE silkroad?
ive used ethereal and there is definately packets going to and from the silkroad servers but decrypting them or even saving them....
i wish ethereal could send packets... Sad
