Alright, I'm trying to find out if it is possible to get AIM passwords stored in the memory. I've tried scanning everything but I can't seem to find the password stored as text in the memory. So my question is, it does have to be stored somewhere in the memory right? So it is probably encoded or something like that? So can anybody help me out with this, thanks

Actually the password is stored in memory! It's stored in plaintext along with the encrypted version.

Tested on AIM 5.9

I always thought it was stored deep-down in the registry. But I guess CE can find that too =p

Can I know how you found it? Was it your password or a friends? And what process was it?

You can find it on yours, by looking in memory for text.

Yes, but which process is it under? I doubt searching for it under IE will do anything.

Any time you dont know what process you should use, click windows list button and use a filter, Once you find the address, GOTO it in the lower memory view and it will show you what module you are in.
