ok I downloaded the flash uninstaller and flash 7 every time I uninstall flash then install flash 7 it works for about the first 3 pages I visit on the net then changes back to flash 9 how do I make this stop

Stop clicking the upgrade popup you get,

Or Install flash player 9 and then use firefox flash switching utility.
The thread is stickied in this Category at the top.
called Flash 7 Installer.

Look about the 3rd page and you will see the firefox utility flash switcher.
Or you can use Fireflash. They both do the same thing.

If you have any problems with either of them, It is because you have a page open and firefox is using the files it needs to swap out.

Close the page and then reopen to like google or something, Then switch.
If using fireflash, same thing. or you get a error.
