Cheat Engine

I can't seem to fully download Cheat Engine yet. I'm only and sadly at step 2. I'm following the tutorial's directions but it won't work. I try Exact Value at 1000, and it gives me more than 1 address. I click Hit me and start over and over and over again. It keeps giving me more than one address. Plz can somebody out there help me?

I see that you are following the tut gj.Yes should be more than 1 address.For example a game has 2 values(life n armor)both are at 1000 when maxed.If you maxed both of them n search for 1000,you should get 2 address IF all the values are not equal to 1000.Lets say that you need the life's address,so you need to rule out the armor's address.In your case,you pressed the wrong button at the wrong time,it seem than you din't change the search value(life).

100 is the max life's value,90 is the life's value after you get hit.
1.press new scan
2.type 100 in the value box(search in 4 bytes)
3.press scan
*you will get a few adress
4.press "hitme" in the tut window
5.type 90 in the value box(4 bytes)
6.press NEXTSCAN (i think this is where you got wrong)
you should get 1 value,if not repeat steps 4-6
7.double click the address
*the address should pop up in the address box below.
8.double click the value and insert the desired value freeze if nesesary
