Even though the file says 76, the version installed is 7.5 again...

When I load the program it says "new version is available" and it does say 7.5 in the title.

I heard something about some people receiving the wrong download, but I also wanted to share my own experience. For me, 7.6 didn't create a folder with 7.6 in the name so I had to find the new folder just named Cheat Engine and figured out 7.6 had been installed there. Perhaps after the install you accidentally ended up with 7.5 open while 7.6 is installed in a folder without the version number? That's what happened to me.

Nope, I closed and uninstalled 7.5 before installing 7.6, since I always uninstall the old one first.

Then I saw that I just reinstalled 7.5 and did not get 7.6 ...

go to the download page again, and press f5, or refresh. Then try to download again. After a few times it 'should' get you the latest 7.6

From the downloads page it says 7.6 but actually downloads the 7.5 installation.

From the main page it downloads a file that says it's 7.6 but it's actually 7.5

And refreshing doesn't help.

Has CE been fixed? it keeps crashing when I try to attach it to a game and keeps nagging about dvbm access on an Intel i9 13000k CPU? When it crashes it leaves another ct on the desktop called "ExceptionAutoSave_ExceptionAutoSave_ysx"
