Hello.
Im trying to get the pointer to the memory region located in C#.
Pointers retrieved from C# (via marshal and unsafe codeblocks) are valid, however cheat engine for some reason cant detect them.
The entire C# memory region (lets say 0x376E17E5D0 is the starting point for the C# region) is unaccessible. Heaplist is empty (the only entry is addres 0x0000 with size 0), memory regions tab doesnt include the C# memory region (above).
Finding the memory chunk manually (the value of a pointer) also gives no results.
Any help?
go to settings->scan settings and tick mem_mapped
and make sure you're connected to the correct process
MEM_MAPPED is checked, I am connected to the correct process.
While writing this reply, I noticed that the window you hook into is not the same thing as the underlying process. I was hooking into the outer shell (cmd prompt) instead of the actual process behind that shell.
It works, thanks <3
