Hello,
I am completely new to using Cheat Engine, although I have read some of the tutorial and watched some YouTube videos.
I am making this post because I can find an address in Unity game Sonic Battle R that stores some sort of forward speed value. Fixing this address to a large value makes the player run very quickly while still allowing for steering input from the keyboard.
However, whenever I restart the application, the address for this value changes. To fix this, I tried the strategy in the first "Code Finder" step of the Cheat Engine tutorial. This left me with what is shown in the attached image.
When I run around in the game, the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth opcode counts increase by usually more than one. Some others only increase by exactly one when I start to run around. The first two counts always increase by usually more than one even when I am stationary. When I perform certain special moves in the game that affect my speed, even more opcodes appear. Which opcodes should I "nop"? Is this strategy even sound?
I also tried to do some pointer scans without changing default settings, but to no avail.
What other steps can I take to create a cheat table for this speed value?
