If I want to include a note within my addresslist, I choose "create header" and I fill in its description... but no matter what it always has a checkbox. It can sometimes look cluttered or confusing though with how I arrange them and sometimes isn't 100% obvious which checkboxes should just be ignored.
Is there a way to create a header (note of any kind right in the addresslist itself) that does NOT have a checkbox? It has to be a note visible right in the addresslist, not hidden in "table extras".
Right clicking the header and using "Group config -> Hide children when deactivated" makes the checkbox useful.
Is it really that confusing? The checkboxes are right next to the description of the memory records. The problem might be how you choose to arrange them. A lot of tables I see overcomplicate things greatly and try to "style" the address list with fancy colours and pointless memory records. I guess they think it looks cool, but all I see is a bunch of shit plastered on the screen that I have to get rid of. I should really make a Lua script to do that automatically if I used other peoples' tables more often... _________________
I don't know where I'm going, but I'll figure it out when I get there.

I've had times where I'll return to a cheat table I haven't used in months or over a year and it can at first glance throw me off. It'll take me a little longer for my eyes to adjust on longer tables with a lot of notes/headers. I've also on occasion shared cheats with people and they were confused by the presence of the checkboxes. Was hoping there'd be a way to hide them but I will experiment with different visual arrangements and figure something else out.
If anyone has any good ideas on patterns or arrangements to use in the addresslist that are very clean looking and where notes immediately can be differentiated from scripts/addresses (in a super obvious difference even to noob eyes) plz share. Thanks!
IMO the correct decision is to not put notes in the address list in the first place. Headers should be strictly for organizing other memory records- not presenting information to the user.
What sort of notes do you use? JIT-compiled code problems can be mentioned when the table is loaded with `showMessage`. Injection copy run requirements can be left as a comment in the script itself- maybe a one-time `showMessage` if it's particularly weird.
You can get confirmation when activating a script too: call `error` in a {$lua} block to stop script activation, or use the OnActivate property. Relevant post:
