Cheat Engine

i know a tad bit of lua but not much else, my explanation may be poor but i tried

i have a bunch of functions used in this game, for example:
game.sellObject()
sells the selected object, it works as i expect whenever i modify the games lua files itself to run it when i say it does, however, im not sure how id do this through cheat engine

im clearly missing something because its not as simple as just running that in cheat engine, but im not sure what im missing, or how id make it work

i just wanna make a simple trainer using some of the ingame functions, etc

Are the lua functions (like lua_pcall kcall etc...) exported ?

enumerate the symbols (mwmview-view-enum symbols and modules) and search for lua_
