Cheat Engine

Greetings all!!

I'm trying to find a way to make an aspect of Frostpunk playable, which is tempering down the discontent. If these were humans you could rationalize with them and explain "hey, if you want to DIE then keep throwing a fit. If you want to live, get off your @$$ and do what's needed!!"

I digress. To the point, the discontent gauge in the game does not have any
visible numbers, it's a simple slider from 0-100% (but can go over 100% while the meter stays pegged) and I'm asking for suggestions advice on how I can use cheat engine to find/modify that value.

Can you please explain what are you trying to find?
Also, if the game have discontent gauge, then it will be easy to display it, it just need way to display it, if not, developers didn't implement this

The game tracks each citizen. The Discontent bar you see on the bottom is an aggregate average of all citizens.
I posted a Cheat Table in Fearless, you can find a pointer there to this value.
From there, you can backtrack your way to the citizens and patch them each.
