How do I cheat?

I am a newbie at cheat engine and wanted to try this out. I went through the tutorial thing and was practicing on the tutorial game. But I can't seem to find the value of the ammo no matter how many times I tried I just can't find the value for the ammo, like I started with 5 ammo and do the first scan, then I decrease the ammo to 4, scan again and nothing appeared. I used the exact value and even set the value type to all, but there's still no value. I don't know where I did wrong please help me

4 bytes and try to find not the ammo but ammos spended
