How do I cheat?

I just downloaded Cheat Engine on mac from the official website, and I allowed my mac to open the application even though it wasn't from a verified developer, but when I try to open it, it just says "cheat engine wants to make changes" and prompts me a box to enter my password. After I end it, nothing happens and sometimes it crashes. Help

what mac version?

try replacing liblua53.dylib with liblua53.dylib.working
