Cheat Engine

I'm trying to figure out how I can condense my main table to save a lot of scrolling, reading and clicking time when navigated out from the game and doing things in the cheat table.

Once it loads up automatically, which I seem to have no control over. The interface I'm used to on my normal Cheat Engine tables disappears. It looks something like this:

It's a wonderful table with a plethora of consistently working features. However I only use but a few when playing it by myself normally and would thus like to just remove the majority of the cheat entries, make some modifications to the arrangements and how they're categorized, alter some of their colors and add some toggle hot keys.

Problem is I can do all this... but there's no save button. I press Ctrl + S and nothing, no save prompt. When I click the X there is no prompt asking me if I want to save before closing.

I have no ill intent here, all I'd like is to know how to save modifications to any tables like this that I come across in the future for personal use. Thanks!

Open CE (not a table, just CE) and turn off "auto execute Lua scripts" in the settings. Set it to "always ask" or "never". Open the table again, don't execute the Lua script, make the changes you want, and save it via File -> Save as...

Why is it that the saving function is disabled upon activating such lua scripts?

because there is no menu assigned to the form to handle the ctrl+s
