Cheat Engine

Hi all hope you're well.

I am after some help using Cheat Engine on Patrician 3. I can edit the money easily with no problems. The issue comes when I try and edit the number of resources in my office or on my ship.

It appears the display value is stored in one location but the actual value is stored elsewhere. I can find the display value and naturally when I change it, it just reverts back to what it was originally.

Does anybody know how I use Cheat Money to find the actual value and not just the display value?

Any help would be appreciated.

keep in mind that not everytime when you see a value revert back means graphical value, sometimes its actually the internal value but there is an instruction writing to it constantly or there is an instruction monitoring the value do some checks.

"Barrel" goods you take amount then multiply *200 "package" goods same thing but with *2000

So beer you have on ship or warehouse 4 barrels 4*200 =800 find in 4 bytes 800 then sell 1 barrel of bear and search 600 in 4 bytes that's all folks

maxdyner I have a question for you. How did you find out that barrel is 200 and large box is 2000
