Cheat Engine

Hello. I get an error when I try to do the first scan that says:
"Scan error:controller:No readable memory found."
Tried to go to settings and enable kernel mode or something but it did nothing..

Would appreciate some help..

I did.. Selected the game I wanted, and when I try to scan I get this error..

1. Go to c:\boot.ini and change /noExecute=OptIn to /NoExecute=AlwaysOff
2. Go to settings -> extra and enable "query memory region routines"
3. Make sure the memory region you picked isn't too small
4. (Optional) Make sure it's not an online game and uninstall your anti virus
5. Open the process with ce

Oh if you trying UCE or int server, you will not be able to chance any values. hackshield kicks you soon

I don't have a "boot.ini" in my C:/ drive.
And I know this cheat works because I've seen other people do it..

Maybe the developers patched it. Nonetheless, this sounds like an online game, so prohibited for discussion. Probably best to inquire where the tutorial was published.
