Cheat Engine

Hi,
i'm new on this forum and i'm trying to understand how to use CheatEngine at his best.
I already know and used variable scanning but know i'm in trouble trying modify some value that i didn't know precisely.
i was wondering if there is a way of track all variables changed during a short period of time in a game. This is beacause i can't scan for a specific value since i don't know it precisely, but i know for sure when it changes, and once i've the record i can guess/try to modify all the possible variables till i found the right one.

just to make it easyer to understand here's an example:
There is a game, in this game i can walk, but i don't know the speed.
If i press a key i run, so my speed change.
I want to find the variable "speed" whitout knowing it's exatly value but knowing that the moment i pressed the button it has changed to a bigger number.

just because at one moment you run and at another moment you remain idle doesn't mean that your speed variable changed. I don't think what you want to do will work nevertheless if you took a few minutes to learn how to use cheat engine (like doing the tutorial) you would have noticed that you can start a scan with an unknown value and then scan by changed/unchanged (or even increased/decreased)
