|
|
So I found this amazing thing and well found out how it works to scan for a pointer
Parent computer A does the scan and connects to Computer B child and they work together to generate a pointermap
I am on Cheat Engine 5.6.1 playing Farcry 4
Found an amazing
14130134445 Results
However this is too many none I can see are my pointer
All Im asking is how do I do the rescan. If I go to Pointer Scanner - Rescan Memory I see no option for my child PC to join in.

standalone rescan has no networked option for now. (the bottleneck is diskspeed and memory fragmentation anyhow)
But what you can do in the future, use saved pointermaps/scandata
Run the game twice, (on different computers if possible) find the address, build a pointermap with that address(addresslist, rightclick, generate pointermap), and then do a pointerscan with those files (distributed if you like)
That way a rescan is instantly done on the results before it is written to disk, and in this case the children will also do a rescan at the same time.
Greatly reduces the scantime, and your harddisk(s) will be spared as well. (only a couple of thousand results)

Ahh hopefully I can I think I can with Ubisoft games.
Some games mainly those made by Electronic Arts have limited installs.
I am scanning the Uplay version of Farcry 4 1.10.0
So If i go to pointer scan and use
Scan for address and put in the second address on the second run of the game then I click compare results with saved pointermap then open the pointer file
then go down to Connect to Pointerscan node
Enter the name -host of my child and its port then click ok
I can see it rescaning as the scan duration is going up on my child PC though that is the only line moving
