Cheat Engine

I keep having this persistent error every time I try to use Cheat Engine on any of my games.
I load it up correctly and such, but when I do the first scan it reads "Scan error:controller:Cleanup:ResultsPrepare:Error when while loading result"

I have tried unistalling and reinstalling the programme, I have tried earlier versions of Cheat Engine and I keep having the same issue. Can somebody please help me, it would be much appreciated.

perhaps the folder where the temp files are stored is inaccessible, or full

go to settings->scan settings and set a custom location for the scanfiles where you know you have enough diskspace and access.

Also, does your username in windows contain non alphabetical characters ? (Just wondering)

I will try that, thank you. My username has ".009" at the end? If that counts?

nah, that should be fine. There is an issue with non ascii characters, (like ²■╟ etc...) but a . should be fine.

It doesnt work for me :/ It still doesnt scan it

and you get exactly the same error ? (you're sure the folder you set it to is writable?)
Try uninstalling your anti virus/firewall and see if that helps
