hey guys,
i got this game on steam for 5$...epic mickey 2...
game is locked at 30fps....but if you edit the config and set the fps to 60...then use the cheat engine speed hack to double the speed. then the game runs at 60fps....cutscenes are messed up though 
anyway...as soon as i activate the hack my mouse stops working in the game....moving it around doesnt move the camera anymore and clicking the left and right button does nothing. however i can move around just fine with wasd. so the keyboard controls still work. but not the mouse.
however if i press esc to bring up the game menu the mouse works fine to scroll through the menus and stuff....but as soon as i get back into the game mouse stops responding again.
any ideas?
....im thinking of trying cheat engine 6.4 ..thats the version used by the guy who suggested how to make the game run at 60.

| It happens, some games you can move the mouse but you cant click. Only fix I have ever found it to turn it off/slow down the speed.

why would it work for the guy who suggested the cheat though....
is this a random bug that just affects certain people? like a bad luck type deal?
because it works fine for him and another guy who also thanked him. why not me?

It could be hardware quality, available resources, software, etc.
Does your process hit 100% when you apply the speed hack? It would indicate a bottleneck that could manifest in other problems, such as a laggy gui.

just bought my pc 8 months ago for 1.9k...i7 6700k 4ghz, 16gb ddr4,gtx980ti
let me check if it goes to 100...brb..
EDIT:
ok i checked and neither the game or cheat engine is demanding anything...cpu usage was at 4% and around the same for memory.

| It's a long shot, but in your Nvidia Control Panel, under Manage 3D Settings, under program settings for that game, try to turn off threaded optimization. You can also try to disable Aero Peek and Desktop Composition under Performance Options via System Properties (Performance Information and Tools/Adjust Visual Effects). Make all of these changes before running the game again and see if it works.

hey, i already uninstalled it... the graphics looked like a wii game with a spit shine....so i decided to just get the wii game iso and uprez it to 4k in dolphin...i compared them back to back and in a way i liked the wii version in 4k better
also using the wiimote is almost as good as a mouse.... the game on pc had other issues like control mapping stuff.

anyway tmnt mutants in manhatten also uses a cheat engine 60fps speedhack....if i have problems there...i will come back to this thread..
