they've found away around this to continue making money for the majority of my classes. most classes of mine have online homework. the homework is same company as the book. each new book comes with a code for logging into their homework for 1-2 semesters. so even if you have the book you still have to pay $70 for access to the homework.

of coruse, homework isn't worth that much. usually at most 10-15% of your grade. but that still makes the difference between an A and a B in the class.

school bookstores usually 2x expensive as online. that's pretty cheap tho.

Well I'm a businessman. Did a lot of business before I came back to school to study. Developed a lot of deep relationships. When you provide a JC access to certain resources, they tend to play nice with you. So I'm a liason between the school and organizations. I do get a lot of perks and freebies that the rest of the students don't get. It's kind of unfair actually, but I mean, nobody really takes that kind of initiatives anyways.
