Hello,
Anyone can enlighten me regarding the subject. I tried lowering cores already but still hangs on me. It worked flawlessly just a few days ago. But I did update windows recently and DBVM didn't work after that, could it be related somehow?
Spec : i5 2500k, Win 8.1, AV delayed boot, boot unsigned (same settings/spec that worked before)
cheers

The AV could be an issue, they always are.

Maybe.. but the odd thing is that it worked multiple times before even without uninstalling the AV. Any other things I can do without resorting to AV uninstall? Now even after 5+ tries, PC still hangs.
I just remembered that when it worked I think I MIGHT still be using 6.5 instead of 6.5.1 of CE. I need to check if I still have my 6.5.

Running 6.5 should work after reboot, assuming it's not a test release.

rightclick on your system supports dbvm, and then click on the cpu's one by one.
if it crashes on the first one, then something is interfering. (e.g running inside a virtual machine already. like hyper-v)

yep it didn't work on the first one. no other VM i know of running. hyper-v was already unticked even before this. Tried using 6.5 and 6.5.1 fresh install to no avail.
might just need to remove AV. I'll just try DBVM again when AV expires. Then again I just couldn't help thinking what if I didn't update windows few days back would DBVM works?
So, anyway thanks all for your help. Maybe I'll update this post when DBVM does work for me after AV uninstall for future reference.
thanks again everyone
