When ever I open CE up I get this message
The temporary scan directory ;" c:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin"\ does not exist. Check your scan settings.

The only thing I can do is select a process to open. It won't let me scan or even click on file or edit to change my scan settings. Whenever I do, I get a "Access violation" message. This has never happened to me before so I don't know what to do. Any help is appreciated!

Change the temporary scan storage folder in the Scan Settings.

But it won't let me change any settings. I get an Access violation message whenever I click on file or edit.

Or set your temp folder correctly in the windows environment variables

Alternatively, seeing that file and edit cause errors, reinstall windows. Your install seems broken
