| I'm searching for some values in driver san francisco and I'm sure I'm doing the right thing because I was successful for other games but I can't find anything. Could it be that the values I'm looking for (mass, top speed, etc.) aren't in memory?

| Never played the game, but can you find simple values? Mass and top speed aren't easy values to find because they're generally static values that are only read. As far as finding them, not all games are the same, so you may have to change your approach with regard to how you find certain values. Sometimes, such values are stored in external files, within the target sub-directory, and can be altered directly. Usually, such values are static and require a great deal of back-tracing and/or analyzing code to find. You can always look at the data structures for easier values and hope that you get lucky.

| Is it possible that top speed, mass, etc. are stored in memory as 8 bit values?

| It's possible...especially if the target process is 64-bit.

| ok I found something (RPM) and I'm sure it's the right value, but no matter how I change it it has no effect in the game. It has no effect even if I freeze the value. I tried that with other games and it worked.

| If changing/freezing the value doesn't work, then it's either the wrong value or the wrong data type (assuming the game is offline and doesn't have any anti-cheat/encryption mechanisms).

| I guess the game has a protection against hacking programs.
