I play a game that uses DirectInput and I got the address(a dinput8.dll address) to send a keypress to the game. But when I change the value with the game minimized / not focused, it doesn't send the key.

As you can see, the counts only keep increasing when the game is focused/not minimized: i[DOT]imgur[DOT]com/JRND6k6[DOT]png

How to send it or pretend that the game is focused? Using cheat engine or c#.
