Yes, Cheat Engine is now paid program and you have to buy license. As you saw on launch, you have to pay following amounts for the license:

I didn't even pay attention to the date today xD
Its a April fools joke isn't it because next scan isn't disabled even tho it says in the message that next scan is disabled... I was thinking that today was 31st of March xD
