So, the game i'm trying to make one for is ran through a client. I don't believe its secured at all, neither are there any anti cheats. I know the client is capable of reading info like. "Distance to target, target's speed, direction, where the crosshair's facing, projectile speed." So what i wanna know is, is there any basic guide that tells you where to find this info, and how it's implemented in an aimbot?

As long as you refrain from mentioning the game's name or anything about it that can directly or indirectly lead you to the game, it's fine.

OP: all the information you need to have is the coordinates of yourself and everything you want to target. With that, you can use basic trigonometry to get how your camera should be oriented such that you're aiming at the enemy. That's a basic aimbot.

A more advanced aimbot could use basic calculus to get the speed, acceleration, and possibly other derivatives of the position to predict where the thing you're aiming at will be. If the projectile you're firing takes time to travel through the air, you can also take that into account when leading the target. You may also need to take into account recoil, bullet drop, air resistance, wind effects, etc.

Of course, if the game already stores some of this information for you (i.e. speed of a player), then that just makes your job a bit easier when doing the math.

In that case, sorry OP. Good luck.
