Hey there.

At the moment I'm really struggling to get 1 code going. That's the jump rope code.
I'm using original FF9 from Google Play Store. I've tried using several emulators. Andy, Nox, MEmu, Bluestacks.
I've also checked that I'm hooked to correct process as well.

So the issue here on each emulator is when I find that 1 address that holds the amount of jumps value, it will change the number to higher, then swap straight back to what it's really at in the game. Say I put 999, it will go straight to 1, 2, 3 when jumping from start. If I freeze the value and allow increase only it will stay 999 the whole time and you can see the original number for a split second in the new box popping up before showing 999 again.

Methods I've tried to find more values than this is using different type values when searching, also used All to see if it gives something else. I've used Exact values that's shown in game. Tried with increase/decrease, and lastly changed/unchanged value.

Are there any other masterminds out there that might know a few tricks to find the correct address/value for amount of jumps out there? Smile

On a side note; I have found a bash script made for PS emulator that jumps from 1 to 1000 with correct times for when its changing pace. But there's no way to make it run on Win10 it seems.
Also tried using auto clicker or macro creator to finish it off for me. But no luck here either.

Then that's not the right value you found. Keep searching for the real one.

Try searching for a 2 byte value on an unaligned boundary w/ all types of protection (i.e. writable, executable, and CoW checkboxes are all grey). If that fails, switch to unknown initial value and changed/unchanged value scans.

If that doesn't work, then you could try searching through physical memory by enabling the 3 kernelmode settings under "Extra" in settings.

it'd be much easier if you tried a modded iso with a patch or just a cpu emu
