Hey guys,
I am trying to bot on my computer for a specific game but I am using a laptop. I am not trying to shot out it's battery. I am able to remote in into the PC. My question was, is there a way from device manager or a program that stops the charging the PC while connected to the charging adapter?
It will probably just charge the battery till it's full then give direct power to the system... could just take the battery out though if you're positive it'll stay plugged in constantly. _________________

Why do you want to stop charging the Pc and yet wanting to plug in the adapter?. It does not make any sense?. If you do not want to deliver power to your Pc then just remove the battery and remove the cable. Why do you have to plug in the cable and yet not wanting to get the power?.
the response by raysosher basically. what I would add is check the bios, as some have the feature of stating when to stop charging, e.g. at 40% etc..
I'm not sure if there are within OS software that perfrom this functionality however it's worth checking.
otherwise, yes just remove the battery all together.
