havent played in about 8-10 years. not familiar with all the new synchro shit and the new shit that came out after that.

but had an op deck that was all zombies. had magic and trap cards that focused on summoning or drawing zombies from my deck with under 1000 def or 1500 def. also had low lvl monster effects that when sent to graveyard allowed me to do the same. had a ton of traps that focused on destroying summoned monsters or destroying monsters upon atking and deflecting that lifepoint damage back to the owner of that atk. then all my zombies had under 1000-1500 defense with my deck being based around 3 zombie lords of 2000 atk who had a great effect of coming back to the field upon being destroyed. my deck was made in suck a way that no matter how it was shuffled i was always able to have monsters magic cards to grab or summon zombie monsters i needed and traps to defend and destroy enemy summons to allow me to atk directly.

since i played in early to mid teens most people were dumb and didnt use strategy. they thought higher damage and brute strength increased chances of winning without having any strategy involved. on average i beat people at a 8000 lifepoint game in 3-4 turns. sometimes 2 turns sometimes 5.

also had 100 holos that were in my trading/selling area. and thrn had traded to get all 5 pieces of exoida in great condition from original blue eyes booster packs, all 5 pieces of the original book of D.E.A.T.H. from the booster pack and all 3 original god cards. all received from trades and playing people in duals for cards. also got so many holos by taking advantage of kids who really wanted a holo i had that i had no need for. would make them give me 2-3 holos i really wanted (without them knowing how badly i wanted thrm) in exchange for my one holo. it got to the point of replacing common versions of cards in my deck all with shiny versions of the same card that were from the booster pack, not any tins.

around age 16 i traded all my holos which were only worth atound 2-3 dollars each along with my 40 card deck for $500 cash and 10 ecatasy pills to my neighbor with autism. whole nother story of why he had mdma which ive shared on here before of how i took advantage of his money and got hom into drugs so hed pay for my drugs as well.

on a side note my neighbor at my parents house still plays yugioh, magic, WoW, daiblo and DnD tabletop. ge also is an emo scene faggot whose hispanic and has extensions in his long black hair that he uses a straightening iron on is fat wears skin tight black heans and listens to bands and wears band shirts like asking alexandria and black veil bride. he also wears black eyeliner. he looks fucking hilarious.

Played when younger realized I never actually played by the real rules. Then they made it way to complicated with synchro/fusion shit and making it so everyone had the same op cards in their deck.

Yeah, I tried getting back into it a while ago too by downloading the Wii game but they have so many new cards with new effects now that it got way too complicated and just not fun anymore.

I once took the piss out of some older ginger dude with long hair when I was a kid cause he was playing with Yu-Gi-Oh cards with kids we were hanging out with. He literally threw me into the river next to us lmao. I've seen him since and he apologised a lot but honestly I was just a dick.
