i had a lump that swolled up to the size of a golf ball a bit ago, then after about a month it started to shrink and got to the size of a bean. the surgeon could've operated when i went in like 2 weeks ago, but he wanted to wait (and if it is cancer and aggressive that literally could've been an unwitting death sentence)
the surgeon wasn't worried because he thought it was just a cyst. but the day when he cut it out, it went a lot deeper than he thought it was. so he said he didn't know what it is, it might've been a lymph node at one point, or maybe it's just a cyst
but if it was a cyst it would usually be a yellowish colour he said, this was purple
it was like a half hour of snipping flesh. the volume of it was about 3-4 peanut m&m's, but about the size of a quarter
i heard every snip. sounded like scissors through paper but closer to scissors through raw steak
and raw steak is what it looked like after i could finally see it. literally if you stuck like half your big toe in your armpit, that's how big of a hole is missing from my arm, and all that is over the hole is skin they peeled over it
i was/am in agony
they gave me no pain med prescription
