You cannot really purchase "lean" as it is a combination of different substances that are mixed together from different products, mainly cough syrup
Unlike DXM where the users consume the substance for its dissociative effects, lean gets its "edge" from being mixed with a carbonated beverage (usually Sprite) and the cough syrup contains promethazine and codeine. The only addictive substance in that mixture is the codeine. Everything else is just there for the "taste". It's pretty weird, but some people are into it.

im sorry but the street value of codiene and promethezine is not 600 dollars, you can buy codiene OTC and you can't rly get prometh but you can just use DPH or some other drowzy piece of shit drug..

codeine is not over the counter in the ums. like it is in canada. its a prescription cough syrup that you can only get from a doctor whwn sick with the cold. and most people dont go to the doctor for a cold unless its really bad and over the counter medication isnt helping.
plus its a shit tier drug that no one wants. theyll also give it for really bad coughs when your lungs get fucked up.
out of fesperation when using heroin id go over to one friends house to smoke weed with and hed let me dip my ciggys in his codeine after doing some heroin in a pathetic attempt to get more high. kinda worked but not enough to justify using it. i also tried smoking it off foil when i had no heroin or money which was an even lower low.
i also tried smoking a morphine pill out of desperation. barely did anything and tasted like shit. ended up saying fuck this amd let my brother smoke it while i broke out my heroin. he ended up getting pretty high and went to bed 5 mins later.
