KeAttachProcess is deprecated and not documented in MSDN. What is the difference between the 2? I saw that DBKKernel of CE6.4 is still using KeAttachProcess for its ReadProcessMemory implementation. Are there any issues?

It saves the APC state.
My guess is that KeStack has better support for nested calls (which ce doesn't do)

Semantically, are they the same? (apart from the supplied parameters, and the ApcState saving stuff).
