Syria is country rich with oil and before war it was one of rare countries without debt. Also oil fields were nationalized which means that only country is allowed to exploit oil, so no western oil company is allowed to get oil fields. Kinda like in UAE.

Syria as we see it now is a result of the Iraq invasion and the toppling of Saddam, creating ISIS. Bush, Cheney, and all the other neocons that are in congress are war criminals and need to be prosecuted under international law. the CIA torture reports are true and they lied to us about the reports even existing, the Patriot act was also born from these people and It violates the constitution and our civil liberties. Too bad there is literally nothing we can do as individual citizens of America now, and even if you're not American you're still effected. Nobody else seems seems to care in the widescope.

To defend modern republicans and republican values is to be against your own self interest and is self defeating, since nobody here is a rich billionaire owning a business. Republicans want more war, and more tax breaks for rich billionaires, while cutting social programs for the middle class and the poor.

Because Americans are asleep at the wheel, they're allowing this contrived system to to come about. We have no one to come blame but ourselves. Our political system is the best system designed to work for the secular people, but they choose every election to make it a red and blue issue. It so happens that the Republicans are the scum of the earth and the Democrats are decent people, not going to be giving them too much credit because they are responsible for this situation as well.
