It used to be about big goverment vs small government right? Now it just seems like Republicans are just anti-progress, and just want to keep fighting. I don't even know how they are still taken seriously.

I may not agree on all republican views, but I definitely can agree with:

Adam and Eve, not Adam and STEVE
All killing is a sin, no matter if you are a fetus or a prisoner
I shouldn't be paying tax dollars for the welfare of ILLEGAL ALIENS
Guns don't kill people, people kill people!
Labor unions in 2015 just drives employers overseas

I've talked to a few republican people I know. They typically say stuff like "I think you should work for your money" or "I don't want the government taxing me when I'm rich" or something like that. The "when I'm rich" thing I hear so often I want to scream. Like these people think they've got a guarantee to be rich in the future, and they're already worried about protecting their assets.

It used to be about the United States being a constitutional Republic vs a Social Democracy.

now it's fascism vs social democracy. Bernie is going to win the democratic(and the vote of people who aren't intellectually handicapped) vote, it's just up to the retardicans of the nation to choose to go with Paul(their only somewhat LOGICAL choice) or Trump against the real champion here.

I think republicans favor death penalty, actually. Not that I buy into your bit.

Bernie isn't enough. If the Republicans stonewall him the way they have Obama, he won't be able to get anything done. Try to find some progressive people to elect to Congress.

Bernie is one of those people in congress. Look at Alan Grayson, Elizabeth Warren. They're a start, and Bernie in the presidential position will help Americans get a more functional congress.

Sanders' campaign is important by raising issues with millions of people who haven't heard them framed as problems with socialist solutions. As a libertarian socialist/anarchist, I see no hope of substantive change occurring through electoral politics. What I want is have an opportunity to be there when the campaign hits a brick wall with soon-to-be disillusioned voters, engage them in developing an analysis of why it happened, and move on from there with a significantly bigger radical base. The best way to do that is to join with other Sanders' campaign supporters today.

Also involved with Sanders. Personally, I think the odds of him winning over the general election are stacked against him. It'd be great to see him win, but it's a tough battle.

That being said, he has gained a lot of steam and a lot of attention. Like you said, awareness is key. Progress is an extremely slow process. If he ends up losing after talking the evils of the oligarchy we live in today, and that process continues, and America continues to spiral down, the next wave of voters will have a stronger push come next election.

I think America will eventually cave to health care for all, free education, and a higher minimum wage. The rate just won't be as fast as I, and a lot of other people, think it should be.

Actually, there is no next election if anyone but Bernie Sanders gets elected. Every presidential candidate is basically in favor of the TPP. The TPP allows corporations to sue governments and send them to the tribunal, which so happens to be appointed BY CORPORATIONS. The TPP is a formal constitution by and for corporations to set up a dominion over the internet and land. Don't be fooled, this coming election is the biggest and most important in the history of the United States, besides the election of George Washington, which should come to no surprise to anyone in favor of freedom.

If Bernie or any other upcoming candidate with similar aligns does not get elected president, our countries laws will be vanished and replaced by the TPP.

Republicans: Killing prisoners is okay, killing fetuses are not
Democrats: Killing fetuses is okay, killing prisoners are not

Where is the party at for "all killing is wrong"?

Bernie Sanders. He's for Private Prison reform, demilitarization of police, and gun control in the form of universal background checks and mental safety checks so crazy people don't get guns and commit mass killings like we are all aware of, anyone who tells you otherwise is factually incorrect and doesn't know what they are talking about.
