Thanks bud... Seems to be a nice way to block'em.
I wonder if microsoft uses some bypass for their own "hosts" file? So that adding interesting addresses to the host file wont stop'em from gathering my dozen TB of porn. |

Not sure but it is something they could easily sneak into an update on Windows. Even more so now with Windows 10 since they can force updates on people. I personally stick to Windows 8.1 and just have updates fully disabled. _________________

I got Win 10 Enterprise & VS2015 from work, so I was like... "Hummm, seems like I should change now from Win 7, also because Win 10 is the last "real" Windows, so far and for all this creepy data crawling shit, there are blocking tools"... as time goes on and you realize that MS is fucking persistent about "How to get all the user-data from our customers" cracks me up.
I mean, when you clean-install someones PC to remove any viruses, better trojans, and you stick to Windows 10, you got a nice recursion here. |
