Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forums, and I have some questions about a problem I come across quite often. As an example, I'll explain it for the steam version of Sleeping Dogs.

I'm trying to find a base pointer for the pistol ammo, using pointer scan set up with an offset of 4096 and a level between three or five.

Rescanning the dump brought it down to rougly 43000 results, but I can't decrease it significantly. I even reinstalled the game, but I still, rescanning might decrease it by 5-20 pointer addresses only. Same for Health in Bioshock 1,2 and 3, or some other stuff in Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Is there anything else I can do? Besides rescanning the exact game version on a differnt setup?

besides another setup, no. just pick one, as every pointer left has stayed valid after all those things
