That guy on CEF, I forgot who, said Kurt Cobain blowing his brains out was what made his music sound so good
I finally get it now
All those suicide references in his songs (ie "In Bloom" and "Come as you are") would have never made sense otherwise!!!

nick drake is amazing. hazey jane II is my fav song. but dont compare him to joy division, 2 different types of music, lyric wise they may be comparable in some weird way, but joy divisions sound is much more depressing and hard hitting
yea they were popular, but now they will be remembered for forever |
