I'm almost positive (like 99%) that you should be able to reinstall post-1 year. It would really destroy Windows 10 if you can't reformat after 1 year, I'm not sure how they'll handle this, though. Even if after 1 year Microsoft wont let you reinstall with your Windows 7 key, I'm pretty sure there's going to be a work-around. It's similar to how I couldn't cleanly install Windows 8.1 with my Windows 8 key, but with a work around (that involved no cracks, just 1 command on cmd), everything worked fine.
