Firefox 3.6.4
Cheat Engine 5.6
Chrome - downloaded yesterday, version 5, I suppose...

Problem: CE can find a value only with first search (only if there's only one unique value), when I change value in firefox or chrome, the next search shows no results. Second problem - even if i manage to find unique value to change in CE, the changes don't appear in both - firefox & chrome. The only salvation is using IE 6, but I don't like it, so please help me!
Tried disabling all addons in Firefox and Chrome - no results.

Shouldn't have anything to do with the browser you are using. I've never had an issue finding an address with Firefox or Chrome.

Are you searching with the right value type?

Bill87: Yes, I am using the right value type, because on IE everything works.

Fantasy: Forgot to mention that I'm using Windows XP.

itapa: I don't use ZA software, but I do have Kaspersky AV and Comodo Firewall Pro. Tried turning them off both - no results. And I don't get any error messages, the searched value just either doesn't show up in CE or its changes don't appear in the browser(FF, Chrome).

More ideas?

P.S. Tried many games, no results in FF and Chrome, but all of them are cheatable in IE...

Is Firefox 3.6.4 a final version? It was a beta version few days ago. Maybe You can try an older version to check it out.

Anyway what are You searching for exactly? Did it work before with Firefox or You always used IE before? You can also update IE, IE6 is not the latest version...

EDIT: For example You can try to hack this game:

The money is stored as "4 bytes" and You need to search for the exact value (not multiplied or anything), You can also pause the game if You click on the "Menu" button, so it is easy to search in it.

I have used Firefox to hack it, though not the latest.

EDIT 2: Hacked it with Chrome too, but it was interesting to see that Chrome is opening 3 processes for a single browser window. I did not know that, but You can easily miss the right process this way.

Yeah, FF 3.6.4 is a beta, but I had problems with 3.6.3 too.
Can't hack your game on FF and Chrome. On next search it finds no values , but works on IE.
The game I want to hack is flood runner 2 in BubbleBox. Have to multiply the points value to 8 and search them in 4 bytes. Pause game using button in top right corner. I hacked it through IE, have the second place in top. Couldn't manage to hack it through IE and CH.

Most likely it is not because of the browser, since I am able to hack flash games from FF and Chrome too. But usually I play the flash games from my HDD with FlashPlayer because it is more comfortable. Anyway I never had such issues as You, try to check out what is the different in IE's and the other browsers settings. If it is working for others in the same browsers, then it is some plugin or setting on Your side, or if You have more open browser tab/window, then You have more process, and You may targeting the wrong one.

(Hey this gave me an idea, IE6 does not have an option to make "tabs" as FF and Chrome, You can open sites in other windows only, so I don't know if this can make any difference. Anyway if You try to search for something, make sure to close every other tabs and browser windows.)

Sorry guys, I installed version 3.6.3 of firefox, because I wanted to use a plugin which wasn't working on beta. When firefox installed, it advised me to update Adobe Flash, so I did, and all my probs got solved. Thanks for your help anyway! Cheat big and hack huge! Very Happy

I use mozilla firefox and CE. I open the process "plugin-container.exe" for firefox then I freeze it to know if it is the correct one, I like 4bytes search so I use it! I usually have to multiply by 8 then add 6 like potty racers 3.2!!!
apparently I've looked at many post or replies they are all different.
"just look only at the value and don't do anything and search that value" or
"multiply the value by 8 that's all" they sometimes work but I have to do my way a lot on games.

Hey, idk what's up or what I'm doing wrong. I tried using CE to hack the game you mentioned, I was able to do it without much problems at all. I'm using the latest FireFox. But I can't seem to hack any other flash games. I used to be able to do Bloons Tower Defense, Last Stand 1&2, and a few others. Only now I'm trying to hack The Bravest Hunter (found on Armor Games) and I can't seem to get anything right. If I was able to hack one game but not another, I really don't understand. Please help if you can.
