Hi there!

I'm having a few problems when it comes to searching for groups of specific data types. I already consulted the help file that comes with Cheat Engine, however I was unable to find a solution for my problem in there.

I want to search for a group of certain data types. Let's say float, double and int/4 bytes. How can I do that without searching for either all data types or making a new scan for each data type? I tried using the "grouped" option, however I was not able to make it so that I don't have to enter the same value for every single type over and over again.

Also, is it possible to exclude results that are out of range of a certain data type? For example, I noticed that when I'm searching for large numbers, Cheat Engine would even display results that are just a byte big and therefore clearly out of range.

Thanks in advance

"custom types"

Post structure you want to find. Maybe I can help.

Is your structure something like this, just an example:
Code:
0x00 int         ,can be only 0,1,2,3,4
0x34 single      ,in range (-50, 50)
0x38 double      ,always equal to 1
0x44 int         ,always equal to 0xFFFFFFFF

I'm able to create "custom type" and I can search for all instances.

Don't know what you meant. By doing "first scan, type: float" for values bigger than 5, CE would display all values in range < 5 , 3.4E38 >.

Max single precision is 3.4028234 × 1038
