open the calculator (not the win8 craphole version)
set it to view->programmer
set the mode to hexadecimal
then you have 2 options:
Option 1:
Open cheat engine
Attach cheat engine to the target process
go to memoryview
go to view->enumerate dll's and symbols
in there press ctrl+f and find the module part of the base address
Get the hexadecimal value in front of it and type that into the calculator
now press the "+" sign, and type in the offset
Click on the "=" button and you'll have the pointer base in the calculator
Option 2:
Open cheat engine
Attach cheat engine to the target process
go to memoryview
press ctrl+g and type in the pointer base+offset
click ok
press ctrl+g again, press ctrl+c
and then go into notepad and press ctrl+v
now the calculator will contain the pointer base
And yes, I am quite aware that this is not what you want, but there is no useful method to do what you wish with the calculator alone _________________
