Imagine yourself in 40 years from now ...you becoming a senior citizen.. with all white hair or maybe totally bald ... and could barely walk... barely eat... and sitting on a wheel chair..? What will be your regrets ? wish that you have did, place that you wanted to go or whatever ?
Lol.

SciO definitely would have been advanced to the point where I wouldn't need eyes to see, I would scan my way through life, possibly by integrating the scanner as an implanted chip under my skin (Yes, we will beat the anti-science conservatives on this one)
Bitcoin would probably be replaced by a newer cryptocurrency, powered universally by radio waves. Libraries as we know it would cease to exist, only to be replaced by either projected displays that hover OR a variation of Google glass that exists as an optical contact lens. Alternatively, if they figure out a way to market ebooks without letting them get pirated, there would be stores where you walk in, scan your chip, and the ebook is instantly sent to your device. The price of books would definitely crash to a mere few cents.
PRISM would eventually collapse as encrypted browsing/messaging becomes more mainstream. There would inevitably be a crackdown and attempts to ban the internet would increase, but fail disastrously.

It's extremely difficult to propagate socialism in a country where it took over 250 years to implement equal labor laws (not that they're truly equal today though), and is the center of capitalist war mongering

| Data collection has always been a human thing. The only difference between then and now is that we can do it much more easily today. This allows research and communication to be more effective. I can't imagine any civilized nation living without internet.

| depends how you define "civilized nation" and what that could even mean in the future. compared to what we can accomplish in the future, nothing we do today could be seen as "civilized"

We can download entire encyclopedias in seconds | yet that doesn't help us to do anything, we can't retain all of that information, and we can't use it to its full potential.
we have the assets to get to the next level, but don't have anything to implement them. just as older civilizations such as the Romans may have had scientific knowledge and many books, it didn't stop them from being destroyed by very "human" like qualities. saying a "civilized" in relation to anything human is almost an oxymoron. computers and AI will be infinitely more civilized than us.
some things found in encyclopedias could be used for bad, uncivilized things, the fact that we just have those things available doesn't make us civilized.

Artificial intelligence cannot exceed human intelligence because part of our intelligence is constructed from our emotion. Not to mention that everyone thinks uniquely and machines only go a particular way (the way they're coded to be)

I would argue no one thinks uniquely, most people have the same thoughts, most people will never have an original thought.
AI has capability of learning on its own, constructing its own emotions as well. if its only doing what its coded to do, then it is not true AI. AI just literally means created intelligence, if that means by emotions then it still applies
edit: in fact uniqueness is completely not human. humans build and learn from previous thoughts, thats what makes us adaptable. most things humans do are not original, and are reliant on previous things, even stuff such as arts like music, literature, etc. its possible AI could create completely original concepts that would be much more interesting. there's already AI that can compose music that is indistinguishable from human composed music
