Oh no, cancer is getting bigger!
I hope that it will be possible to get normal start menu (something similar to the win 8 ). Also emulated desktops? Nobody uses that on the Linux.

emulated desktops is an option you don't have to use it but there is a few people that down right love the feature so its there for those that do which i think is a good thing even tho i won't use
also its a tech preview that's has open suggestions and is no where near a finished product especially since win 9 isn't even out yet

Slate's headline
"Windows 8 Was So Bad That Microsoft Is Skipping Windows 9"
I really really hate how so many companies now are only focused on fancy looks, ease of access, or "cool graphics"
This is the reason why systems that are less secure cost more than multi-layered security, people are lazy, they don't want manuals.
I want features, features!! Flexibility!! Don't give me simplicity in exchange for a cut of 80% of the features!
It's why I choose Android over iOS, Linux over Windows (most of the time), and Firefox over Chrome. Open source will always kick ass.
Would you want to buy a product engineered by a selected 1% who were paid millions of dollars to develop it, or would you rely on transparent software, where the code has been analyzed by millions of people, and even you can scrutinize it yourself? Of course you'd want code that is accessible to everyone, this way master artists who can't get jobs for whatever reason can still design on a big project, and if they find a flaw, they can patch it immediately.
On the other hand, if you find a flaw in a sealed project, like Windows, assuming you're a good guy, you can report it to Microsoft and have that report sitting there in the midst of the 2147483647 other error reports while you wait ~3 years for them to release an update that fixes the bug, or in the case of Apple, a new damn phone (but hey, your screen is bigger this time!)
Try asking Windows 8 or iPhone users this one question about their latest product they blew eight hundred bucks on:

just watched the video, about 1:33 in, when he went "let's get started in seeing all of the new features", then the first "new" feature was the start menu. Lol _________________
