Okay, so here's the problem with Darksiders 2. Including what the subject says, I have some problems when scanning. After a few scans, it just crashes randomly in the middle of doing anything. And I say randomly because I know it's not when the values I'm scanning for are changed. Basically, I can play for about 1 minute with CE attached to the game before it displays the typical "...has stopped working" crap. Also, I always get stuck with 2 different addresses(amount of Gilt I have) that are synchronized, so it creates difficulty when comprehending which is the real/affecting address.
Dishonored is a little bit of a different story. I can play with CE attached for quite a bit longer, just experimenting with finding common values(coins, bullets, elixirs) before it gives out. Either that, or I don't remember if I screwed up and made it crash.
The problem with both games is that I can never find the health or mana/Wrath values.

These games should not crash when you are using CE on them. Unless you messed up a value or a code that you shouldn't have touched.

It also happens when I tab back into the window right after a normal CE scan for 0 at 4 bytes. Maybe it's my computer...should I share my specs?

It's probably your computer. Maybe it can't handle alt-tab out of games.
Try to test CE on something simple. Like the CE tutorial, or smaller games. If it happens with these games only, try to run them in windowed mode (I don't remember if they have windowed mode) or decrease graphics until you are done with the scans.

No, I'm sure it's not my computer; It's a gaming laptop. Turns out, it was crashing because it couldn't handle fullscreen after scanning. Now my only problem is that the debugger doesn't work at all with those games.
