Q:Will Cheat Engine work on online games?
A:Only on rare occasions.

A:No
Q:If I send Dark Byte an e-mail regarding cheating in an online game, what will he do?
A:In the unlikely event that he does, it would be in a frustrating tone.

(Unless you live in a place like Europe where the law precedes such agreements and where you have the right to reverse engineer all software for personal use)

A:No, cheat engine is completely free.

A:The download link to the source code may be found in the Downloads section of our site.

A:If you were charged for freeware, it is advised that you dispute the payment through Paypal. Contact your lawyer regarding the laws of your state for illegal software sales, then cite the code in an email to Paypal/Ebay, or to your vendor.
Q:Why isn't cheat engine digitally signed? I'm too scared to download it now.
A:Because I hate this mentality where everything has to be feared on the internet. If you don't want to download it, then don't, consider consulting a psychologist to deal with your anxiety.

A:Sure, but don't expect him to read beyond the first word before deleting it.

A:Add Cheat Engine to the ignore list. Anti-virus vendors are simply suffering from mental conflicts. Again, if you're too scared to run it, then don't.

A:Some day. (Not to be confused with Sunday)

A:Most likely not.

A:Cheat Engine updates do not affect game trainers, or how Cheat Engine modifies a game in general, they only include bug fixes or newer, more convenient features.
Q:Why does the installer need a connection to the internet? Are you trying to hack me?
A:No, I'm not trying to hack you. This is just OpenCandy attempting to connect you to their servers in an attempt to fetch the latest list of tools that you may be interested in using.
Q:Where can I find OpenCandy's privacy policy?

Q:I'm not touching any of that OpenCandy crap, can I get a version of Cheat Engine that excludes the OpenCandy installer?
A:Yes, the download page also has a link to a download without an installer. You just have to ensure that you properly configure the installer yourself.

Only fixed minor grammatical inconsistencies, I tried to be efficient in maintaining correct grammar while at the same time making sure that I do not change the meaning of Dark Byte's statements.
I only did this because I was bored, and I love writing.
