How do I cheat?

I have a text file that has all of the stuff that a table needs but the problem is it's all text and I can't convert it to a .CT file

What does it contain exactly? XML?

yeah it has something like that, the first line reads like so:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
