[Meat Shackles]

So I am trying to make it so when I walk off a surface I would never fall and (hopefully) not die. I have made a pointer to the Z axis but just locking the value doesn't work. So I'm assuming I would need a script to replace the code that moves you down with dummy code that doesn't do anything. This is where i'm stuck, I can look at what accesses the Z axis and the results are six pieces of code that update every frame. I'm not sure what each of these does and Don't know where to start, Any advice on what I should do first would be appreciated. Complete instructions are fine but I want to try and not be spoon-fed so I can actually learn.
