Hey,
I was interested in starting to develop software for mobile phones. I was curious on the transition from regular windows development to mobile development. Do we need to use a separate compiler for the mobile phone or can we use standard Visual C++ Express Edition.
Are the applications on a mobile phone the same type of applications on Windows? Are there any sites that focus on C++ development with mobile phones that guide you through? Can your application work on different types of phones such as a BlackBerry, an iPhone, etc?

There are some third party libraries (QT, Unity, etc) that offer support for multiple platforms. The tools you use will necessarily depend on the type of application, the platform you're developing for, and possibly also the method of distribution on that platform (eg, sideloading vs offering through some storefront). _________________
